Samsung Galaxy S7 case turns smartphone into DSLR camera

Smartphone cameras are getting better. They've replaced your dedicated compact, but still not come close to worrying your DSLR. Well, until now, Digital Spy said.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 boasts an immense 12-megapixel camera that's capable of capturing some seriously impressive low-light shots. But it can be improved.

Sammy has launched an awesome accessory for the S7 - the aptly named Samsung Galaxy S7 Lens Cover.

A protective smartphone case with a difference, the Lens Cover features a set of screw-in, screw-out optical lenses.

Covering the key photography basis, there's currently a wide-angle and a telephoto lens, letting you capture everything from panoramic vistas to up-close detail without sacrificing image quality.

“We had a quick play at MWC 2016 and loved the image-improving abilities, especially the telephoto lens that took us close to the action without the usual smartphone zoom image degradation.

Pricing for the Lens Cover has yet to be confirmed, but it's already shaping up as one of our favourite smartphone accessories of all time,” Digital Spy said.
