Dink Murder Directed against Turkey's Attempts to Create European Future
Greece has condemned the murder of Hrant Dink, the editor of Agos Armenian-Turkish newspaper. "The assassination of Hrant Dink - a man fighting for the fundamental right of freedom of speech - was directed against the attempts of the Turkish nation to create a European future," says the statement disseminated in Athens by the Foreign Minister of Greece Dora Bakoyannis. "Greece condemns this murder, as well as any action of violence or terrorism, hoping that it will be rapidly investigated and the criminals will be punished," the Greek Foreign Minister noted, reports the Armenian Public Radio.
