Cult guitar hero and Searching For Sugar Man star Rodriguez has announced that he'll be playing two huge London shows at the Palladium this summer, Gigwise reports.

Sixto Diaz Rodriguez, also known as Rodríguez or Jesús Rodríguez, had an initially modest and short-lived career, before going on to achieve cult status in South Africa where he outsold the likes of South Africa. He has only released two studio albums from the early 1970s - Cold Fact and Coming From Reality.

He came to the attention of the world again when this phenoma and his return to music was made the subject of the 2012, Oscar-winning documentary, Searching For Sugar Man.

Now, the folk legend is heading back to the UK for two shows at London's Palladium this July. Dates are as follows, with tickets on sale from 10am on Thursday 10 March and available here.
