The Armenian Relief Society (ARS) of Eastern USA, under the auspices of His Eminence Archbishop Oshagan Choloyan, Prelate of the Armenian Apostolic Church of the Eastern United States, will host an art exhibition and reception at the Vahakn and Hasmik Hovnanian Hall at the Armenian Prelacy in New York on April 2 and 3.

This will be a selling exhibition curated by seasoned curator Vicki Shoghag Hovanessian, and will be an important source of funding for the ARS’s educational programs, the Armenian Weekly reports.

Rooted in a common heritage and history, this exhibition will bring together the works of a wide range of contemporary Armenian artists.

On sale will be the artwork of prominent artists from Armenia and the diaspora, including Carzou, Reuben Nakian, Assadour, Sarkis Hamalbashian, Ararat Sarkissian, Arevik Arevshatian, Hamlet Hovsepian, Vahan Rumelian, Arture Sarkissian, Arshak Sarkissian, Gayane Khachaturian, Simon Samsonian, Rudik Petrosyan, and Kegham Tazian.
