Deftones have unveiled another taster from upcoming new album Gore, with the blistering new track 'Doomed User', Gigwise reveals.
An emotive but hellish and thundering rush of rock, 'Doomed User' is very much a linear evolution from the heavier moments on Diamond Eyes and Koi No Yokan, Gigwise said.
Frontman Chino Moreno said of the track: "It’s got a rockin’ rhythm and a high tech sound that will make you shake your body down to ground."
Deftones release GORE on 8 April. The tracklisting for GORE is as follows:
1. Prayers/Triangles 2. Acid Hologram 3. Doomed User 4. Geometric Headdress 5. Hearts and Wires 6. Pittura Infamante 7. Xenon 8. (L)MIRL 9. Gore 10. Phantom Bride 11. Rubicon
Deftones will be hitting the road again after they pulled the remainder of their tour dates this month when they revealed that they were among those in the Bataclan when ISIS terrorists struck an Eagles Of Death Metal gig - killing 89 people.
The band are also set to perform at Download 2016, alongside the likes of Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and Rammstein.
