Marvel finally confirms the swirling rumors that Finn Jones has landed the lead role on the upcoming Netflix series "Marvel's Iron Fist". The Loras Tyrell of "Game of Thrones" is set to bring Marvel's master martial artist Daniel Rand to life, AceShowbiz said.

The show follows Daniel returning to New York City after he has been missing for years. He will fight against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist. Scott Buck, who served as a showrunner for the final seasons of "Dexter" and wrote several episodes of the Showtime series, will shepherd the upcoming series. "Danny Rand is a very complicated character. He's a billionaire New York Buddhist monk martial arts superhero who's still trying to figure out what exactly that all means," said Buck. "Finn is able to play all these levels in such an honest, revelatory way that as soon as I saw him I knew he was our Danny."
