Levon Aronian took the lead at the sixth round of the World ChessCandidates Tournament in Moscow on Thursday, March 17, with a stunning victory against Hikaru Nakamura.
Aronian, thus, joined Sergey Karjakin in the lead.
In other games of the 6th round, Viswanathan Anand beat Peter Svidler; Anish Giri and Veselin Topalov ended the game in a draw, so did Fabiano Caruana and Karjakin.
Eight rounds still remain in the marathon to decide the next challenger for world champion Magnus Carlsen.
