Android Wear just got more fashionable thanks to luxurious smartwatches from designer Michael Kors, Digital Spy said.

The Michael Kors Access wearables come in two models - "sporty" for men and "glamorous" for women.

They feature interchangeable straps, from leather bands to metallic bracelets, and exclusive display faces.

"I thought, 'Why can't tech accessories be chic and glamorous?'," said Kors. "After all, technology is impacting life more and more.

"It should reflect your personal taste as much as anything else, but it should also give you access to all the experiences that you want."

Aside from looking pretty, the Access watch comes with the usual array of Android Wear smarts, including app notifications, voice controls, and fitness tracking, Digital Spy said.

They will be available in the autumn, with prices starting at $395.
