Armenia must be active in preventing the Kars-Akhalkalaki-Tbilisi-Baku railway project, because its functioning will lead to Armenia's full isolation, said to a press conference in Yerevan AAA (Armenian Assembly of America) Regional Director for Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh Arpi Vartanian. In her words, Armenia must make every efforts to rehabilitate and reconstruct Kars-Gyumry railway. "It will be cheaper and faster, and more profitable for our state. Naturally, this is very hard and laborious, but it needs to be done," Vartanian underscored.
