18 random bursts of gunfire were registered on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, with the latter using various caliber firearms and sniper rifles to shoot at Armenian positions.

A 60-mm mortar was also used in the ceasefire violations on the night of April 15-16.

Showing restraint, the Armenian Armed Forces’ frontline positions retaliated only in case of extreme necessity to continue controlling the situation on the border.

On the night of April 14-15, 14 ceasefire violations were registered in the northeastern section of Armenia-Azerbaijan border.

The Azerbaijani side, in particular, opened random bursts of gunfire from various caliber firearms.
