Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor has announced details of a one-off UK tour date at Koko in London, Gigwise reports.

The singer, author and rock sensation will be performing acoustic, solo and unmasked in the capital this summer, at a gig that he promises to really be one-of-a-kind.

“Everyone’s been asking me when I was going to come back to the UK and do some acoustic stuff- honestly, it’s not because I didn’t want to," he said of the show. "So since I’m going to be there doing some stuff in May, I decided we’d make one happen! And I cannot WAIT!"

Corey Taylor will perform at Koko in London Sunday 8 May.
