Armenia is ready to establish diplomatic relations with Turkey without preconditions, stated Armenian President Robert Kocharian at the interview to French "Le Figaro". He rejected Turkey's offer to create a joint commission of historians in order to clarify the events of 1915 and called upon Ankara to establish an inter-governmental commission. "Normalization of bilateral relations is a prerogative of governments not historians," stressed the head of the Armenian State.
