Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire on the line of contact with Nagorno Karabakh overnight on May 1-2, using mainly firearms.

Karabakh frontline units showed restraint and retaliated only in case of extreme necessity.

On the night of April 30-May 1, a Karabakh serviceman, Ashot Zohrabyan (b. 1991) received a fatal wound in Azerbaijani fire.
