The meeting between President Serzh Sargsyan and his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev kicked off in Vienna on Monday, May 16 evening.

The summit is the first one since the escalation in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict zone.

Also attending the meeting are the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs and the foreign policy chiefs of the co-chairing countries - Russia, France and the United States - Sergey Lavrov, Jean-Marc Ayrault and John Kerry.

Prior to this, President Sargsyan met with the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry.
