FOX announces full line-up for 2016-2017 TV season

Gearing up for the new TV season, FOX announced its full line-up for 2016-2017 ahead of its upfront presentation on Monday, May 16. The list has a bunch of new series, including the "24" reboot, the return of "Prison Break" and "The Exorcist" TV adaptation, AceShowbiz said.

"Lethal Weapon, a TV adaptation of the successful film franchise, lands a Wednesday 8 P.M. slot, being paired with "Empire". "Star", from "Empire" co-creator Lee Daniels, will take over the Wednesday 9 P.M. slot during "Empire" hiatus in midseason.

"The Exorcist", a modern reinvention of the horror story based on William Peter Blatty's 1971 book, is scheduled for Fridays at 9 P.M. in the fall, being paired with "Hell's Kitchen". "Sleepy Hollow" will return to the 9 P.M. slot in midseason.

"24: Legacy" nabs the post-Super Bowl debut on Sunday, February 5 at 10 P.M. before moving to its regular slot on Mondays at 8 P.M., ahead of another new series "A.P.B.". "Prison Break" returns in midseason on Thursdays at 9 P.M., taking over the slot from the exiting "Bones".

Also coming to the network in 2016-2017 are half live-action and half animated comedy "Son of Zorn", baseball drama "Pitch", comedies "Making History" and "The Mick", "compelling" event series "Shots Fired" as well as telepic "The Rocky Horror Picture Show Event".
