The Holy Trinity Church, also called Zvartnots, in the Armenian Nor Kyugh district of Aleppo, Syria was seriously damaged in rocket attacks that hit the neighborhood throughout the last couple of days, Kantsasar newspaper said in a Facebook post.

All the windows of the church are broken, with the lodges of nuns badly damaged.

Four Syrian-Armenians were killed as armed militants once again bombarded the Armenian neighborhood of Aleppo, Syria on Thursday, June 2, firing at least 30 rockets.

Three of the victims died immediately, their charred corpses moved to the hospital.

Another Syrian-Armenian, wounded in the course of the attack, died shortly afterwards.

The funeral of the four killed was held at the Surb Astvatsatsin church of Aleppo.
