Ankara agreed on dismantling wall, which divides Nicosia into Greek and Turkish parts
Ankara expressed its solidarity with authorities of self-proclaimed Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in the issue to dismantle the wall that divides Nicosia into Greek and Turkish parts more than 40 years. At the briefing in Ankara official representative of Turkish MFA Levent Bilman noted, Turkey shares the position, which holds president of North Cyprus Republic in the issue to dismantle the wall in Nicosia. President of North Cyprus Mehmet Ali Talat called this decision belated but positive, and Turkey shares its position," the representative of Turkish MFA stressed.
