After inspiring some hope of a full reunion when they teamed up with member of Cypress Hill and Public Enemy, Rage Against The Machine have shot it down by denying that they'll be getting back together with Zach De La Rocha, Gigwise said.

The other three quarters have come together to form supergroup Prophets Of Rage, to tour songs by all three groups this summer. But don't for a second think that this will lead to the return of 'Killing In The Name Of' metal heroes RATM.

"There's no Rage Against The Machine right now," guitarist Tom Morello told Wall Street Journal, "the burning embers of Rage Against The Machine, the cold embers, are now the burning fire of Prophets Of Rage. Where Rage Against The Machine lives is this summer in these songs that we are playing."

He added: "We have nothing but the greatest love, and honor, and respect for Zack de la Rocha, the brilliant lyricist of Rage Against The Machine, who is working on his own music, which I'm sure will be fantastic. He's a great artist in his own right, but where you are going to hear Rage Against The Machine is in Prophets Of Rage."

This follows three quarters of Rage Against The Machine previously forming the celebrated supergroup Audioslave with Chris Cornell.
