Great House of Cilicia to attend program of Pope's visit to Armenia

A delegation from the Great House of Cilicia will participate in the program of Pope Francis' visit to Armenia.

The pontiff will arrive in the country on June 24, set to spend three days here.

On June 24, at 3:35 pm local time, Francis will be greeted with the Hrashapar (wondrously glorious) service which is traditionally offered as a service of welcome to top religious clerics.

On June 25, at 11:00 am, the pontiff will serve a mass at Vardanants square in Gyumri, the second largest city in Armenia.

At 7:00 pm, the pope and the Catholicos of All Armenians, His Holiness Karekin II will serve an ecumenical service and peace prayer at the Republic Square in Yerevan, Armenia’s capital city.

On June 26, at 10:00am, Francis will participate in a liturgy, served by Karekin at the open altar of the Mother See.
