Samsung set for an Android overhaul, a leak suggests

Samsung's impressive hardware specs have helped it cement a place among the top of the smartphone tree. Its software, though, could probably do with a shake-up in order to meet the same standards.

That's why you'll be glad to know that a refreshed take on Sammy's TouchWiz has been leaked, appearing to show a flatter and cleaner user interface, Digital Spy said.

The video below, from Italian tech site HD Blog, runs through a number of key aspects within 'Grace UI', including the claim it will launch on Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 later this year.

For those lacking Italian and/or an attention span, the tutorial video of the fresh UI educates users on how to add widgets to the home screen, make a selection from a wide range of themes, and choose a wallpaper.

The Note 7 is expected to offer a number of innovative features and market-leading specs, rejigging the software and the colour palette involved.
