Over 3 thousand tourists have attended the Church of Holy Cross on Akhtamar island. Tourists pay 3-5 lyres for arrival and 2 lyres for entering the church transformed into a museum where they are told about the history of the church, RFE/RL reports.

The inauguration ceremony took place on March 29.
