Kiev proposes establishing common economic space with EaP countries

Ukraine is launching discussions on the establishment of a common economic space (CES) with the Eastern Partnership countries (Ukraine, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, Belarus and Azerbaijan), Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said.

"Today I raised the issue of a possible discussion on the matter," the Minister told a press conference in Kiev on Monday, July 12.

Eastern Partnership countries are planning to hold consultations on the issue to meet for discussions in fall, he said.

“It is necessary to study what sectors the CES could include,” Klimkin added.
