Armenia, Lithuania eye cyber security, peacekeeping cooperation

Armenia and Lithuania look to cooperate in the sphere of cyber security and peacekeeping.

At a meeting in the Baltic country Tuesday, July 12, Armenia’s Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan and Lithuania’s National Defense Minister Juozas Olekas discussed prospects of defense cooperation between the two countries, as well as various projects in the framework of Armenia-NATO partnership.

The parties weighed in on security-related issues that both Armenia and Lithuania face, also discussing the situation in Nagorno Karabakh.

Also Tuesday, Ohanyan met with Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevicius, with the latter expressing his support to the peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict in the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmanship.
