Bjork announces Royal Albert Hall date, London exhibit

Bjork has announced her only UK date of the year, at London’s Royal Albert Hall, as well as a new exhibition at Somerset House, Gigwie reports.

The singer, whose album Vulnicura topped many music publication’s 'best of' lists last year, will play her first headline show in the capital for three years in September. She’ll perform at London’s Royal Albert Hall on 21 September.

Not only this, but she’ll be hosting a two-month exhibition at Somerset House, Bjork Digital, starting on 1 September. According to Time Out, it’ll be a “snazzy multimedia exhibition and virtual reality project that’s never been seen in Europe before.”

Visitors will be given a pair of goggles, and will be able to see the Icelandic star singing on a beach, as well as listening to ‘Mouthmantra’ while sitting inside her mouth. Whatever that means.

Bjork’s Royal Albert Hall show takes place on 21 September, and Bjork Digital is at Somerset House from 1 September to 23 October.
