Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian discussed the situation in Nagorno Karabakh with this Georgian counterpart Mikheil Janelidze.

Nalbandian is paying a visit to Georgia; his agenda includes meetings with he country’s top officials.

“I briefed my counterpart on the situation in Karabakh, attempts to overcome the consequences of the hostilities against the republic, process of implementation of agreements reached in Vienna and St Petersburg. We agreed that there’s no alternative to the peaceful resolution of the issue,” Nalbandian told journalists, according to Sputnik-Armenia.

As the Georgian Foreign Minister further noted, cooperation in the sectors of transportation, energy, tourism and culture was also discussed.
