Armenia and U.S. deserve Ambassador whose nomination has been approved by Senate
"Appointment of Richard Hoagland Ambassador to Armenia is a matter for the Senate, but at this point I do not see the nomination making it to the floor. I hope that President Bush will not use a recess appointment to install Hoagland as ambassador to Armenia. This is an important posting and both our nations deserve an Ambassador whose nomination has been approved by the Senate," Congressman Adam Schiff (D-CA) said in an interview with PanARMENIAN.Net.

Richard Hoagland's designation was twice blocked by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee after he told the Senate he doesn't recognize the Armenian Genocide.
