Set to be announced at this week's IFA trade show in Berlin, LG will introduce the world's largest ultra-wide monitor, Digital Spy reveals.
The 38-inch curved behemoth, the 38UC99, is one of three new ultra-wide 21:9 models the company will launch, and is capable of 4K-quality video and producing ultra-wide images at a resolution of 3840 x 1600.
Not only is the monitor super big, it's also the first of its class to feature a USB-C port, and comes with two internal BlueTooth speakers. The price, unfortunately, also happens to match its size, setting buyers back around $1,500 when launched next month.
Also announced were two ultra-wide 34-inch monitors: one flat-screened model with built-in Google Cast capabilities, and one curved device targeted at gamers.
Although, those in the market for a new monitor may want to wait for the standalone display Apple and LG are reportedly working on, Digital Spy said.
