Nine years after the assassination of Hrant Dink, the editor-in-chief of the Turkish-Armenian weekly Agos, new details have emerged in the case investigating the crime, HayTert reports.

Footage has gone viral showing the assassin, Ogun Samast, heading to Dink’s office, while men anxiously moving about and making gestures to Samast are seen nearby, Tert.am says.

According to Istanbul Prosecutor’s Office, those men are former army officers who have been detained in the wake of the recent coup attempt, as well as reshuffles in the sector, and searches.

The six officers, accused of masterminding the assassination, are suspected of having connections with Fetullah Gulen who Ankara blames for plotting the coup, and personal involvement in the turmoil.
