18,37% of Armenians want the resignation of Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, while 17,62% and 15,98% want the removal of Transport Minister Gagik Beglaryan and Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan, respectively, an online poll conducted by PanARMENIAN.Net showed Tuesday, September 13.

Now former Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan resigned on September 8, followed by the ruling Republican Party’s nomination of Yerevan’s ex-mayor Karen Karapetyan for the post. President Serzh Sargsyan on Tuesday signed a decision to appoint Karapetyan as Armenia’s new PM. The premier must form a new government within 20 days.

Meanwhile, the President promised a major cabinet reshuffle, starting from his own staff to the judicial system.

Ahead of the “stuff turnover,” PAN conducted an online survey among 13,238 Armenians who have access to the Internet; the overwhelming majority – some 86% – came from Armenia, 4,7% from Russia, 4,2% from European countries, and some 3% from the United Stated States and Canada.

Participants could choose three options from a list of Ministers who they don't want to see in their respective posts any more.

The poll, of course, lacks academic precision like any other online survey, but it nevertheless offers an insight into the overall public disposition.

Following the Foreign, Transport and Culture Ministers in their “honorary" positions are Minister of Finance Gagik Khachatryan (13,34%) and Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan (10.47%).
