"Heritage" Party overpassed 5-percent barrier, party considers that result understated
According to preliminary information, opposition "Heritage" Party (leader is ex-Foreign Minister of Armenia Raffi Hovhannisyan) has overpassed the 5-percent barrier at the parliamentary elections in Armenia.

Meanwhile party representatives think that the 5-percent result is understated, coordinator of party's campaign headquarters Hovsep Khurshudyan stated. "These results do not reflect the real outcome of voting anyhow," he stated. Coordinator underlined the party waits for the final results of the election. However the matter is not about 5 or 10 percents. We hope to get much higher result," Khurshudyan said.

Sunday morning Khurshudyan stated to journalists "Heritage" does not agree with the published interim results of the CEC, according to which the party was on 12th place. He underlined, protocols that the party has from the polling stations allows to assert that "Heritage" occupies 1-2nd place in Yerevan and 3-4th place in regions, "Novosti-Armenia" reports.

Republican Party of Armenia, "Prosperous Armenia" Party, ARF Dashnaktsutyun and opposition "Orinats Yerkir" overpassed the 5-percent barrier. Besides, United Labor Party and National Unity have chances to overpass the 5-percent barrier.
