The Armenian Assembly of America (AAA) congratulated the people of the Republic of Armenia on the May 12th parliamentary elections. "These elections are a historic step toward a fully democratic Armenia, a goal to which Armenia has demonstrated its commitment and leadership in the region through democratic reforms. We encourage the people of Armenia to continue to remain actively involved in the country's political and civic life," the AAA statement says.
