The Boston marathon bombing movie "Patriots' Day" has releases the first teaser trailer, showing the horror of the unspeakable terrorist attack. Mark Wahlberg plays one of the police officers on duty during the horrific incidents, AceShowbiz said.

Wahlberg plays Police Sergeant Tommy Saunders who joins courageous survivors, first responders and investigators in a race against the clock to hunt down the bombers before they strike again. The story spans the five-day search up to the infamous siege where the bomber, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, was found Massachusetts.

The true-story movie is directed by Peter Berg ("Lone Survivor", "Deepwater Horizon"). The other cast members include J.K. Simmons, Michelle Monaghan, John Goodman, and Kevin Bacon. It will be released in limited theaters on December 21 before going wide in January 2017.
