Short film winners included narrative “The Silence,” directed by Ali Asgari and Farnoosh Samadi, and documentary “Irregulars” directed by Fabio Palmieri.

“HIFF continues to focus on showcasing an entertaining, diverse and provocative slate of films each year,” said David Nugent, HIFF Artistic Director.
