Ronaldinho returns to Barcelona as world ambassador

Ronaldinho returns to Barcelona eight years later, although not as a player but a club ambassador, Sport English reports.

The Brazilian came from Rome after playing in the game for peace there and on Friday, October 14 at midday appeared at Barcelona’s club offices to speak with president Josep Maria Bartomeu. They discussed the role that Ronaldinho will have from now with the Blaugrana.

He will be a club ambassador in the world, due to his fame and the way fans love him. He was already present at the opening of Barcelona’s New York office. That was his first job, and there are plenty more ahead.

The initiative of FCB Legends, which gathers former Barcelona greats for events, keeps taking shape.

Ronaldinho played for the club between 2003 and 2008, winning a Champions League and two La Liga titles. At 36 he has not officially retired but has not played properly since for Fluminense in 2015.
