David Bowie’s final song “Killing A Little Time” unveiled

The last of David Bowie‘s final recordings, Killing A Little Time’ has been unveiled, NME reports.

Taken from the upcoming soundtrack to Lazarus, a musical penned by Bowie and based on his cult classic film The Man Who Fell To Earth, ‘Killing A Little Time’ is among the last songs ever recorded by the ‘Heroes’ icon during the ‘Blackstar’ era – with ‘When I Met You’ and ‘Plan’ unveiled earlier this week.

With a dark and jazzy mood, the song continues in a similar vein to ‘Sue (Or In A Season Of Crime)’, but with a hard rock edge reminiscent of his work on ‘Outside’, NME said

This month has also seen David Bowie’s favourite vinyl records revealed – featuring the likes of The Velvet Underground, Syd Barratt, Little Richard, Steve Reich and many more.

Bowie passed away in January at the age of 69.

A new ‘best of’ compilation ‘Bowie Legacy’ is set for release on 11 November. It has been reported that David Bowie planned ‘a long list of musical releases’ before he died, with the upcoming release of the ‘Lazarus’ musical soundtrack to feature his final ever recordings and unheard songs.
