Cara Delevingne, Alexander Skarsgard to star in “Fever Heart”

Alexander Skarsgard and Cara Delevingne have come on board the independent thriller “Fever Heart”, with shooting expected to start next year, Variety reveals.

Fortitude International is handling rights overseas and will introduce the project to buyers at the American Film Market this week. WME Global and CAA are co-repping North American rights.

“Fever Heart” is set to be directed by Ben Briand in his feature debut from a script he co-wrote with Kevin W. Koehler. The story centers on an amnesiac (Skarsgard) who collaborates with a circus sharp shooter (Delevingne) to recover his lost memories while being pursued by an evil tracker.

Producers are Picture Films’ Margot Hand and Matt Dooley. Executive producers are Michele Bennett and Fortitude’s Nadine de Barros.

Skarsgard starred in Warner Bros.’ “The Legend of Tarzan.” He became attached last week with Nat Wolff to star in “The Kill Team,” Dan Krauss’ feature film adaptation of his documentary about U.S. soldiers carrying out murders in Afghanistan. “The Kill Team” is also being launched for foreign sales at AFM.

Delevingne most recently starred in Warner Bros.’ “Suicide Squad” and will next be seen in Luc Besson’s “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.” Briand’s short films include “Blood Pulls a Gun” and “Apricot.”
