Armenia President looks to boost ties in UAE visit

Armenia's Serzh Sargsyan left for the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday, November 9, the President's office said.

During his stopover in the Emirates, Sargsyan will hold talks with Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

Also, the Armenian leader will meet with Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the vice president and prime minister of the UAE and Emir of Dubai, ruler of the Sharjah emirateSheikh Sultan III bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, as well as deputy prime ministerMansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

In addition, Sargsyan will visit the Holy Martyrs' Armenian Church and the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi.

Besides, the President will hold meetings with the managers of investment and development companies, also set to sign a number of documents, aimed at strengthening cooperation and business ties.
