An explosion shook the offices of a district governor in the southeastern Turkish province of Mardin on Thursday, November 10 and many ambulances were sent to the scene, broadcaster CNN Turk reported, according to Reuters.

The Hurriyet news website said the blast, in the Mardin district of Derik, was caused by a bomb. NTV reported that some people were wounded, with the district governor slightly hurt.

On Wednesday, four people, including three village guards and a citizen, we killed and two others were injured when PKK terrorists attacked a minibus in eastern Turkey's Van province.

Also Wednesday, three village guards and one civilian were killed in another attack by the PKK in the Baskale district of the southeastern province of Van.
