Henrikh Mkhitaryan may return to Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund want to re-sign Henrikh Mkhitaryan following his disappointing spell at Manchester United, according to The Peoples Person.

The German club are keen to take him back in January after club officials have been left shocked by his treatment at Old Trafford.

Steve Bates in the Sunday People claims Tomas Tuchel, CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke and General manager Michael Zorc have been left astounded at Mkhitaryan’s failure to make any kind of impact under Jose Mourinho.

He was one of the Bundesliga’s top players before he left Dortmund in a deal worth over £26.9 million last summer and Tuchel has allegedly said he’d be happy to strike a loan-deal with United.

There were high hopes for Mkhitaryan following his spectacular spell at the Westfalenstadion, but he has just made six appearances and has failed to cement his place in the side.

Supporters were hoping to see him action and have grown frustrated after the Portuguese boss has left the Armenian out of his recent matchday squads.

Hopes are we can see him back in action at Old Trafford soon as he possess plenty of ability and would walk into our current squad with ease.
