ARMENIA TO PARTICIPATE IN MULTINATIONAL MILITARY EXERCISES IN GEORGIA
Multinational military maneuvers within NATO "Partnership for Peace" program will be held in Georgia in 2003. As reported by "Arminfo" agency, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Bulgaria and Romania will participate in them besides the US and Georgia. As reported NATO program coordinator under the Headquarters of the Georgian Armed Forces Irakly Batkuashvili, the exercises would conceivably be held in May-June 2003. The first international conference on planning the coming maneuvers will be held in Tbilisi October 22-25 this year.
