Today Armenian President Robert Kocharian met with President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Mr Rene van der Linden. The parties discussed Armenia's cooperation with European structures, prospects of economic development of the republic.

They also referred to a number of problems including normalization of the Armenia-Turkey relations in the context of Turkey's EU bid.
