London Chess Classic Round 7: Aronian draws with Anand

Levon Aronian of Armenia drew with former world champion Viswanathan Anand in Round 7 of the London Chess Classic.

The most exciting game was played between American Hikaru Nakamura and Maxime Vachier-Lagrave of France. After the major blow of the previous round, Nakamura beat the French grandmaster with white pieces.

The London Classic, which finishes at Olympia this weekend is the final event of the chess Grand Tour, which Wesley So of the United States is poised to win. Aronian shares the 5-7 positions, despite his roaring victory in the first round of the tournament more than a week ago.
