Iranian leader Hassan Rouhani in a new round of regional tour will pay a visit to Armenia at the invitation of President Serzh Sargsyan on Wednesday, December 21, Iranian media report.

As part of the government's policies to strengthen ties and deepen cooperation with neighboring and regional countries, Rouhani will also visit Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

The visit will follow his one-day trip to Armenia, meeting with President Sargsyan and signing memoranda of understanding on bilateral trade cooperation.

Rouhani will be accompanied by several ministers and deputies during his regional tour.
