Around 65 ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijani army were registered on the contact line with Nagorno Karabakh overnight on December 22-23.

Azeri troops, in particular, fired more than 1200 shots from various caliber firearms and sniper rifles in almost every direction of the frontline.

Violations were especially intense in the eastern and southeastern directions of the contact line, employing 60- and 82-mm mortars.

To suppress the rival's attacks, Karabakh Defense Army troops took measures to continue controlling the situation along the entire line of contact.

The frontline is relatively calm at the moment.
