U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Weeknd to headline Bonnaroo Fest

Bonnaroo is returning to Manchester, Tennessee this June, and the lineup for the annual festival has been revealed. Acts including U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Weeknd are headlining the summer gig along with Chicago-native spitter Chance the Rapper.

Major Lazer, Lorde, The xx, Flume, The Head and the Heart, Travis Scott (II), Tove Lo, Tegan and Sara, Marshmello and Tory Lanez are other big names in music scheduled to hit the stage. Also in the lineup are Dua Lipa, D.R.A.M., Yellow Claw and Cage the Elephant.

For U2, the headlining Bonnaroo spot will be part of the band's upcoming summer tour, which celebrates the 30th anniversary of their groundbreaking album "The Joshua Tree". As for other headliners, the Red Hot Chili Peppers will return to the festival for the first time since 2012, while The Weeknd will make his first Bonnaroo appearance.

Meanwhile, Chance will return to the festival for the fourth straight year. He is also set to headline Governors Ball in New York alongside prog-metal act Tool and French indie-rock band Phoenix.

Bonnaroo is slated to run from June 8 to June 11. Four-day general admission tickets are currently on sale for $324.50 (plus fees) via the festival's official website.
