Azerbaijan against change of Karabakh talks format
"There is no necessity to change the format of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement talks," said Novruz Mammadov, the head international relations department at Azerbaijani President's administration.
According to him, the OSCE MG Co-chairs tried hard to fulfill their duties. "It's true that they do not cope with the task but it's not a reason to change the format of negotiations," he noted.
He said he sees no evil in attracting extra forces like the Council of Europe, the European Union and other international organization to the process. However, change of the format would be premature, Trend news agency reports.
OSCE CiO, Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos said recently that some changes are essential to fix progress in the Nagorno Karabakh settlement process.
