EU doesn't agree to divide Kosovo into Serbian and Albanian parts
The European Union has rejected the idea of dividing Kosovo into ethnic parts the Serbian and the Albanian. EU Commissioner for Enlargement Olli Rehn said after the talks with Serbia's Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic that the division - such as the above mentioned - is at variance with the principles of the contact group of international mediators for the Kosovo settlement. The idea to divide Kosovo was suggested by the Netherlands as a compromise between Belgrade and Pristina. The European Union and other mediators fear that the decision may create a dangerous precedent, RBK reports.
