Germany to provide 79.5 million euro assistance to Armenia
Armenia-Germany annual intergovernmental talks were held in Yerevan September 11-12. Dr Rolf Baldus, Head of Central Asia and South Caucasus Division at Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany represented the German delegation. The Armenian side was represented by Minister of Finance and Economy Vardan Khachatryan, the press office of the German Embassy told Pan.ARMENIAN.Net.

The meeting participants assessed the projects that have already been implemented and discussed reforms in legal field, regional development, ecology, energy, education, etc.

It was noted that Germany intends to provide 79.5 million euros as financial assistance for Armenia.

Being Armenia's second (after the United States) donor state, Germany has assigned some 265 million euros for Armenia since 1993.
