Had Azerbaijan not been ready for mutual concessions, it wouldn’t be now participating in the OSCE Minsk Group’s work in the first place, former Armenian President, head of Armenian National Congress Levon Ter-Petrosyan said in the teaser for a TV program.

“In the beginning of negotiations over the Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) conflict, Armenia and Azerbaijan had major disagreements, while there are only one or two at the moment,” Ter-Petrosyan said.

“Both sides seek to benefit from negotiations.”

Speaking about concessions, the ex-president said Azerbaijan wouldn’t have participated in the peace process if it were not ready for compromise.

Ter-Petrosyan heads the proportional list of Armenian National Congress (ANC)-People's Party of Armenia alliance. Following Ter-Petrosyan are Stepan Demirchyan, Levon Zurabyan, Zoya Tadevosyan, Aram Manukyan and Gagik Jhangiryan.

Elections to the National Assembly will be held on April 2. Nine parties and blocs running for seats at the National Assembly have already launched their election campaigns.
