Israel encourages Ankara for incursion into Iraq
Israeli Infrastructure Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer, who also held the post of the defense minister in the past, said Turkey has the right for self-defense following the attacks by the PKK.

"No one has the right to tell a nation keep quiet through a bombing, so as a former defense minister and a former army general, I think Turkey has the right to guarantee the security of the people living in this country by all means including a cross-border intervention into northern Iraq," he told TDN.

Israel's stand in the Armenian Genocide denial is unchangeable, according to him. "We are strong but we do not keep control over the whole world. Israel doesn't control the Jewish lobby in the U.S.," he said, Hurriyet newspaper reported.
